No Forced Readings is a spiritual guidance service operated by a sole proprietor based in North Carolina. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

2. What we collect

When you submit a reading request we collect your email address, your optional pronouns, and the information you voluntarily share in the open text fields of the form — including what you would like your reading to focus on, how you are feeling, your tone preference, and anything else you choose to share. We do not collect your name unless you provide it voluntarily in a text field. We do not collect IP addresses, cookies, or any tracking or analytics data.

3. How we use your information

Your information is used solely to deliver your reading. Your email is used to send your reading and any necessary communications related to your request. The personal details you share in the form are used to inform the reading itself. We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, or any purpose beyond fulfilling your request.

4. Who we share your information with

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties. Your information is never shared with advertisers, data brokers, or any other organizations. Form submissions are processed through Netlify Forms and stored securely in our Netlify dashboard. Payment processing is handled by Square. Please refer to Netlify's and Square's respective privacy policies for information on how they handle data.

5. Sensitive information

You may choose to share sensitive personal information in the open text fields of our forms, such as details about your health, relationships, or personal circumstances. This information is shared at your discretion and is used only to inform your reading. It is never stored beyond what is necessary to deliver your reading and is never shared with anyone.

6. Data retention

We retain your submission information for as long as necessary to deliver your reading and fulfill our obligations under our refund policy. Once your reading has been delivered and any applicable guarantee window has passed, your submission data may be deleted upon request.

7. Your rights

8. Children's privacy

Our services are intended for adults 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a minor has submitted a request we will delete their information and decline the request.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. However no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
